MLK Day of Service

January 19

The churches along Charles Street have teamed up to offer several opportunities to serve on the MLK Day of Service, held this year on Monday, January 19th.

Activities are held throughout the day and include a youth “service” lock-in, a neighborhood trash pick-up, assembling bags of love for our unhoused neighbors, making Valentine’s Day cards for shut-ins, hosting activities at Stadium Place and Marian House, supporting Art with a Heart in Hampden, and a donation drive for winter clothing, school supplies, coffee mugs, and technology donations.
